Would be interested to hear from anyone who uses crypto to pay people. Im considering paying some of my foreign contractors with crypto since it’s faster and cheaper than PayPal or the likes but the volatility is a risk. Maybe pay them with XRP then, it’s seems relatively stable. Thoughts ?

Marketing Pitch: "Bitcoin is like paypal, only cheaper, faster and much better."

General people don't understand the mechanics behind monetary system, yet they are very familiar on how to use cash. Likewise, people will be able to use bitcoin without having to understand the complexity of blockchain, mining etc. So, I am not sure why we (bitcoin community and bitcoin companies) are for fixated on trying to explain to the world how bitcoin works. Instead of saying, "Bitcoin is digital cryptocurrency, consensus network, decentralized peer-to-peer payment network, that is powered by its users with no central authority or middlemen", wouldn't a better marketing pitch be as simple as like:"Bitcoin is like paypal, only cheaper, faster and much better."
Edit: I wan't comparing bitcoin with paypal. This post was to try to identify what might be better marketing strategy for bitcoin. cheers!
